LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- LeadPoint(1), the leading platform for buying and selling leads announced today that The New York Times Company will be the first multi media property to begin monetizing voice leads using the LeadPoint leads exchange. This agreement coincides with the launch of LeadPoint's innovative voice leads technology, which drives the only marketplace where pre-qualified consumers are able to be connected in real time to the highest bidder. LeadPoint is the first and largest leads exchange with over 800,000 leads traded to date.
Under the terms of the agreement, The New York Times Company will promote an 800 number on Web sites including NYTimes.com and Boston.com and newspapers including The New York Times and The Boston Globe. The 800 number will connect consumers to the highest bidding lender, based on the consumers' responses to LeadPoint's automated questions and the lenders' desired criteria.
"It's a win-win-win. The consumer has a better experience. The lender receives an exclusive and more qualified voice lead, and The New York Times can generate significant incremental revenue with nominal effort and little cost," said Marc Diana, CEO of LeadPoint.
"To be selected to provide our voice leads platform for a leading media company like The New York Times Company further validates LeadPoint's lead exchange model," says Diana. "We are helping innovators like The Times transform traditional CPM media into pay-for-performance media. We're confident that the LeadPoint platform will become a significant way to drive revenue for traditional media companies."
