Sybase has a fabulous product in PowerBuilder. It is a shame that developers are under pressure to move away from it. Your note that there may not be enough PowerBuilder developers is a chicken and egg problem for Sybase.

Remote Analysis Ltd kondigt slaapdiagnose voor iPhone aan
Remote Analysis Ltd, een serviceleverancier voor telemedische
doeleinden, heeft in samenwerking met Elias Pietilä’s Qvik Ltd (Wooden
Labyrinth, bijvoorbeeld) een iPhone toepassing ontworpen voor de opname
en analyse van snurken en apnea tijdens de slaap. Deze Sleep
Aid–toepassing is nu verkrijgbaar via de iPhone App Store voor € 2,39.
“Dit is een heel eenvoudige toepassing voor gebruik. Zet de iPhone
simpelweg op de nachtstand, klik op Record en ga slapen. Klik de
volgende morgen op Wake up. Hierna kan je een grafiek browsen gebaseerd
op de opname gedurende de nacht en luisteren naar audioclips van het
snurken. De toepassing bevat ook voorbeelden van audioclips van normaal
snurken en apnea tijdens het slapen. Je kan de opname van je eigen
snurken met deze voorbeelden vergelijken en daaruit concluderen of je
apnea tijdens de slaap hebt”, legt CEO Ossi Tiihonen uit.

Remote Analysis Ltd legt zich toe op medische analyse op afstand. Het
bedrijf is opgericht in 2002 en levert diensten aan 123
gezondheidsorganisaties in heel Finland.
